CIGL Strengthens Information Security with ISO 27001 Implementation

Lagos, Nigeria – 10th June 2025

Capitalfield Investment Group Limited (CIGL) has officially commenced the implementation of
ISO 27001:2022, the international standard for Information Security Management Systems
(ISMS), marking a major step forward in enhancing the Group’s cybersecurity posture and risk
management capabilities.
ISO 27001:2022 provides a structured framework for protecting sensitive information, managing
risks, and ensuring compliance with global security standards. This initiative will span the entire
Capitalfield Investment Group, covering a total of eleven (11) companies. Each entity is
committed to integrating robust information security controls aligned with the standard, while
maintaining a unified approach to safeguarding digital assets and ensuring regulatory
compliance.
This new implementation follows the successful completion of CIGL’s recent ISO 22301:2019
surveillance audit, which reaffirmed the Group’s strong foundation in business continuity
management.
“We are excited to advance our information security capabilities through ISO 27001
implementation,” said Mr. Raphael Lewu, Group Managing Director and CEO of CIGL. “Building
on our proven business continuity practices, this initiative underscores our dedication to
protecting our assets, clients, and stakeholders against the growing cyber threats in today’s
digital landscape.”
CIGL is partnering with Mitiget Assurance and Technology Services Limited and Wealth Builders
Investment and Advisory Services Limited to ensure a smooth and effective rollout of the ISMS
framework.
The Group remains committed to transparency and continuous improvement throughout the
implementation process as it strives for certification and operational excellence.
