Taiwo Abiodun Omoniyi – (Head Operations, Root Mining Co. Ltd)

A seasoned Mining and Geological Engineer with over fourteen years of experience in sourcing industrial minerals (lime stone, granite, feldspar, gypsum, talc etc), Metallic minerals (zinc, lead, copper, iron ore, manganese ore etc) precious and rear earth minerals. Mr. Omoniyi is a Mining Engineering graduate from the Federal University of Technology, Akure. He is also a certified Project Management professional (PMP) and a Petroleum Products Marketing Professional (PPMP).

He began his career in 2001 with the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development as a Quarry Supervisor. Thereafter, he moved on to Splitsecond International Ltd, Abuja, as an Open Pit Mining Manager from 2003-2006. He has since then, worked in different capacities which include Geological Engineer, Pure Chem. Cement Factory; Quarry Plant Manager, Servetek Engineering Nig Ltd; General Manager, Obasanjo Holdings; General Manager Mining & Geology, Saf-J Global Resources & Mining Ltd.

In June 2017, Mr.Omoniyi came on board with his wealth of experience, as Head, Business Development, Roots Mining Co. Ltd.
