Sam Olowu – (Group General Manager)

A seasoned economist and professional banker, whose experience in both corporate and retail banking spans almost two decades. He started his banking career as an Operations staff in Allstates Trust Bank Plc where he rose to the position of Branch manager.

He then moved on to Zenith Bank, Standard Trust Bank Plc. and later United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA Plc) where he pioneered branches and achieved Tremendousfeat as both Business Manager and Sector Head. He later joined Oceanic Bank International Plc. (now Ecobank) and got to the position of an Assistant General Manager and a Zonal Head.

He is a well rounded credit and market analyst with deep knowledge of transaction dynamism of each market and the associated business and operational risks. Sam holds a BSc (Upper Division) Degree in Economics from the University of Nigeria,Nsukka, MSc (Economics) and MBA (Management) degrees from the University of Ibadan. He proceeded to the UK where he bagged a Masters Degree in Economic and Financial Sector Policies from the University of Glasgow, UK.
