Abdulmumini Lawal – (Group Head, E-Business)

Lawal Abdulmumini is a finance technology expert with over 10 years of hands-on banking experience focusing on innovation and disruption within the financial services sector.  He commenced his working career in 2001 at Prudent Bank where he was exposed to varied forms of application development and interfaces to multiple platforms. Subsequent upon the merger of 5 banks (Prudent Bank inclusive), he was a member of the implementation team that put together the technology framework that led to the evolution of Skye bank in 2006.

This led to several awards foremost among which is the most seamless integration within the banking industry. He spent his time in Skye bank developing interfaces that provided convenient touch-points for customers across multiple technology-based platforms while also developing internal applications for staff to enable service delivery.

Having acquired extensive experience, he joined RenMoney MFB (formerly Rencredit) in 2012 where he had the responsibility of implementing the first cloud-based application of T24 in sub-Saharan Africa. This was done in record time and with accolades. He is currently the Head, E-Business with Capitalfield Investment Group Limited.

Lawal, a graduate of Computer Science also has a PGD in Computer Science from Lagos State University, as well as a certified e-business Consultant.
